About

C4 Wordcraft is owned and operated by me, Steve Arensberg, a veteran writer and editor with more than twenty-five years’ experience. I’ve worked with individuals, with non-profits, and with companies small and large. I’ve written and edited everything from non-fiction articles, newsletters, and books, to advertising copy, to games, to fiction. I’ve written and edited in a number of industries, including educational publishing, legal publishing, fund-raising, retail, online businesses, and even hobby games publishing.

I’d love the opportunity to bring that experience to work for you.

Steve Arensberg was fantastic to work with as an editor. I was a first-time author and as such very unfamiliar with the process and what to expect or even ask. Steve was patient, knowledgeable and clear about the process and the role he played in helping me make my book the best it could be. He outlined the steps each of us would go through, the cost and estimated time associated with each task. Steve was always prompt and kept the process moving forward helping me along the way when I stumbled a bit.

I would highly recommend Steve Arensberg as an editor for your project for both his capabilities and efficiency to help you bring your best product to market.

Steve has a unique set of job skills that he has brought to any and all projects that I have worked with him on. He not only has the ability to see both the overarching global perspective and the business end of things, but sees also, the more specific day-to-day elements of real-time work. He keeps his focus on deadlines and people’s concerns in a way that translates to successful management strategy. He is by far one of the most skillful managing editors I have had the pleasure to work with. And that skill is just a small part of the skills he brings to the table.

He sets the bar high in terms of his responsiveness and excellence in delivery. Once you have worked with Steve, you always find yourself wishing you had “a Steve” on your team again. I would do a lot of creative bargaining to have him on any project of mine, and I envy those lucky enough to be able to work with him and have access to his talent and skills.
